Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all food safety protocols are followed.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and preparing sauces.
- Upsell additional items to customers, enhancing their dining experience while increasing sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations in the kitchen.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide assistance as needed, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and portion control.
