Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. Duties
- Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform repairs promptly to minimise downtime.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to execute installations accurately.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out installation and repair tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they develop into major problems.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, including risk assessments and safe working practices.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections carried out.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Electrician is essential.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws.
- Strong electrical experience with a comprehensive understanding of wiring systems, circuit breakers, transformers, and control panels.
- Knowledge of current electrical codes and safety standards applicable in the UK (e.g., BS7671).
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Previous experience working independently or as part of a team on complex projects is highly desirable.

Pay: £29,128.60-£48,267.84 per year
