Fleet Consultant
Driving Down is a fast growing fleet and fuel buying consultancy working with businesses across the UK to help drive down the cost of running their company vehicles.
We’re looking for proactive people to join us, who love talking to businesses and making a material difference to their customers. If you want to get involved with a business that is quickly growing, with the opportunities that come with it, then we’re the company for you.
The Role
On a daily basis you will be:
Contacting business to discuss their fleet and fuel costs to identify savings to be made
Establishing if there is a fit between the customer’s needs and Driving Down’s services
Building rapport with the aim of generating a demonstration of our services
Each month you will be working closely with experts from within our organisation and externally to grow your knowledge on how Driving Down is already helping hundreds of customers. We will provide you with guidance and support to help you achieve your goals within the business.
You’ll need:
Experience within the fuel or fuelcard industry
Experience of B2B business practices
Excellent communication skills, both on the phone and in email.
A positive attitude; self-motivated and resilient
A hard worker
To be a team player; encouraging, helpful and cooperative
A willingness to learn, develop and grow within the business
To be focused, target driven, and confident with a passion for excellent customer service
A want to support other business’ and see them grow alongside us
What you’ll get in return:
Salary of £30,000-£ 35,000 p.a. (experience based)
Monthly commission uncapped
Birthday as a paid day of holiday
For successful candidates
To have previous experience within the fuel industry or the fuelcard industry is essential. As this role is to run analysis and consultancy on businesses fleet and fuel costs you need a knowledge of how the industry works.
