Responsibilities
- Manage the appointment scheduling process with precision, ensuring optimal utilization of the dental practice’s calendar.
- Confirm patient appointments via phone or electronic communication, providing clear instructions and answering any scheduling questions.
- Coordinate with dental professionals to accommodate urgent cases and reschedule appointments as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update scheduling software efficiently to prevent overlaps or errors.
- Assist patients in understanding pre-appointment instructions and follow-up procedures to enhance their overall experience.
- Handle incoming calls professionally, addressing inquiries about services, insurance, and appointment availability.
- Support the front desk team by performing office administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Experience
- Prior office experience is essential, preferably within a healthcare or dental setting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in office software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and dental practice management systems.
