We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Manager to lead our Lounge and Dining Furniture departments in our Downtown Grantham store.
This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused leader who can inspire a team to deliver excellent sales results while maintaining high standards of service, administration, and presentation throughout the department.
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of Sales Advisers, helping them achieve individual and departmental objectives while ensuring customers receive an exceptional shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and motivate a team of Sales Advisers to achieve sales and service targets.
- Drive sales performance within the Lounge and Dining Furniture departments.
- Monitor departmental performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail throughout the customer ordering process.
- Maintain high standards of merchandising, housekeeping, and department presentation.
- Support and develop team members through regular coaching and performance management.
- Handle customer queries and resolve more complex situations in a professional and effective manner.
- Ensure company procedures and standards are consistently followed.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to deliver business objectives.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience leading or supervising a retail sales team.
- Demonstrates strong coaching, communication and people management skills.
- Is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
- Has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Can effectively manage priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Is confident in handling occasional complex customer or operational situations.
- Has a positive, proactive approach and leads by example.
