Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Care Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality personal care and support to individuals in care homes or within their own homes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in care environments is essential!!
Duties
- Assisting clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Supporting clients with medication reminders and health monitoring as per care plans
- Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ wellbeing
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding where necessary
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided using IT systems
- Communicating effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals
Experience
- Previous experience working within a care home or home care setting is mandatory
- Knowledge of care plans and basic IT systems used for record keeping is advantageous
- Good communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members
- Ability to demonstrate caring, patience, and empathy towards vulnerable individual
Pay: £12.71-£13.70 per hour
