Overview
We are seeking a motivated, organised and reliable Admin Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis, 5 days a week.
You will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our operations by handling administrative tasks, customer communication and record-keeping.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and proficient in various Microsoft Office software. Previous office or clerical experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The role involves supporting daily operations, maintaining organised records, and ensuring smooth communication across departments.
Responsibilities
- Answering customer phone calls with professional etiquette and directing inquiries appropriately
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail
- Supporting customers with queries and resolving issues
- Performing data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office
- Organising files, documents, and records to ensure easy retrieval and compliance with company standards
- Assisting with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars for team members
- Supporting administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and filing
- Preparing reports, presentations, and other documents as required
- Monitor office supplies and coordinate ordering when required
- Providing general clerical support to ensure efficient office operations
Requirements
- Previous administrative experience is preferred
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive)
- Good attention to detail and accuracy with data entry
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- A confident and professional telephone manner
- Pro-active approach to problem solving
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
