Dental Nurse & Receptionist
4 days per week | Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday | Monkstown Dental
Looking for a role where you can learn, develop and be part of a great team?
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated person to join Monkstown Dental, working across both dental nursing and reception.
We’re a busy, independently owned practice with a supportive team, a modern digital environment and a wide treatment offering including general dentistry, implants, orthodontics, endodontics, sedation and facial aesthetics.
This role has become available due to a member of our team relocating, and we’re looking for someone who will become an important part of our practice.
The role
Your time will be split equally between surgery and reception, so it’s a varied role with plenty of opportunity to develop your skills.
You’ll be involved in:
· Supporting dentists and clinicians in surgery
· Preparing surgeries and maintaining excellent cross-infection control standards
· Welcoming patients and making them feel comfortable
· Managing appointments, calls and patient enquiries
· Helping the wider team keep the practice running smoothly
Who are we looking for?
Ideally, you’ll be an experienced, qualified dental nurse, but we’re also very happy to hear from people who are new to dental nursing.
For us, attitude is just as important as experience. We’re looking for someone who is:
· Friendly, caring and professional with patients
· Reliable, organised and adaptable
· A good communicator and team player
· Willing to learn and get stuck in
· Comfortable working in a busy environment
You don’t need to know everything already; we can help you get there.
What we offer
We want our team to enjoy coming to work and to have the opportunity to build a career with us.
You’ll receive:
Salary: £13.70 per hour, with a range of additional pay for relevant experience and qualifications
- 4-day working week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday
- Friendly and supportive team environment
- Full training and paid NEBDN Diploma if you’re new to dental nursing
- GDC registration, CPD and indemnity fully funded

- Private health insurance, including optical and dental cover, plus benefits such as discounted gym memberships, sports watches and cinema tickets
- Annual leave allowance, with rewards for long-term service
- Modern, fully digital practice with intraoral scanners and CBCT
- Opportunities to develop across a wide range of clinical skills
