Overview
Due to continued company expansion, we are looking for reliable owner drivers to join our friendly and supportive courier team on a self-employed basis.
Available roles:
- Long wheelbase vans / Sprinter-type vehicles operating from Patchway, Bristol £230+ per day
- Self employed courier drivers, van, fuel and insurance provided. £130+ per day.
What we offer:
- £230 + day rate (owner drivers) £130+ (driver only)

- Full-time work, Monday to Saturday

- Ownership of a large long wheelbase van (or appropriate vehicle type)
- Vehicle must be insured for courier/work purposes

Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans , ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
- Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures
- Plan routes efficiently to optimise delivery times and minimise fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and proof of delivery documentation
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during daily operations
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations
- Valid driver’s licence suitable for the vehicle type (e.g., car, van)
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous, especially in handling goods and heavy lifting
- Strong organisational skills to plan routes effectively and manage time efficiently
- Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking
