Job Title: Security Officer
Location: Llansamlet, Swansea
Hours: Average of 42 hours per week (with overtime available)
We are looking for a dedicated and client-focused Security Officer to join our team in the Llansamlet area of Swansea. In this role, you will ensure the ongoing safety and security of the site, while upholding a professional corporate image and maintaining consistently high standards of service.Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate logs, records, and incident reports at all times
- Carry out internal and external foot patrols and site inspections as directed by management
- Operate communication equipment and site alarm systems effectively
- Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Provide assistance and guidance to staff, visitors, and customers when required
- Control site access and prevent unauthorised entry into restricted or prohibited areas
- Undertake other reasonable duties as requested from time to time
Person SpecificationTo be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a valid SIA Frontline Licence
- Have access to your own vehicle (essential due to the location)
- Be smart in appearance, confident, and professional at all times
- Possess proven experience and knowledge of the security industry
- Be comfortable using mobile applications and digital systems
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Have the unrestricted right to work full-time in the UK
- Be eligible to pass BS7858 vetting and screening (with a minimum of 5 years verifiable history)
- Be reliable, punctual, and flexible to meet operational needs
Pay: £12.71 per hour
