Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Licensed Conveyancer to join our reputable legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing property transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with legal standards and client expectations. Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of property transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring all legal requirements are met.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer documents, and other legal paperwork related to property conveyancing.
- Liaising effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Conducting searches, enquiries, and liaising with external authorities as necessary.
- Ensuring all transactions comply with current legislation and internal policies.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating case management systems promptly.
- Providing clear advice to clients regarding the conveyancing process and associated legal considerations.
Requirements
- Valid licence as a Conveyancer recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, Council for Licensed Conveyancers or appropriate regulatory body.
- Proven experience in residential or commercial property conveyancing.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex legal matters clearly to clients and colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently within deadlines.
- Proficiency in IT systems relevant to legal practice management and document drafting.
- Effective time management skills, demonstrating the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all documentation and compliance standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, maintaining professionalism at all times.
