Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Community Representative to serve as the primary point of contact within our organisation, fostering positive relationships with community members.
This role involves engaging with diverse audiences, promoting our Full Fibre Broadband services.
The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for community engagement.
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to facilitate outreach to a broader demographic(Romanian). This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the community while developing valuable skills in public relations and marketing.
Duties
- Act as the ambassador of the organisation by representing its values and objectives within the community.
- Organise and participate in community events, outreach programmes, and informational sessions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local organisations, leaders, and residents.
- Provide accurate information about programmes, services, and initiatives to community members.
- Gather feedback from the community to inform organisational strategies and improve service delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design marketing materials tailored for diverse audiences.
- Utilise social media platforms and other communication channels to promote activities and engage with the community effectively.
- Address queries or concerns from community members promptly and professionally.
- Assist in identifying new opportunities for community engagement and outreach expansion.
Experience
- Previous experience in marketing, public relations, or customer service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective engagement with diverse audiences.
- Bilingual abilities are highly advantageous to support outreach efforts across different language groups.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in dynamic environments.
- Organisational skills with an aptitude for planning events or programmes is desirable.
- A genuine interest in community development, cultural diversity, and public service is essential for success in this role.

Pay: £19,600.00-£36,000.00 per year
