Proactive Personnel ltd are currently recruiting for our established client in the Loughborough area for experienced mechanical fitters.
We are currently recruiting for several Mechanical Fitters on either a PM shift or night shift.
- PM Shift, 14:00 – 22:00
- £17.25 - £18.40 depending on experience
- Nights, Sunday – Thursday, 22:00 – 06:00
- £19.50 - £20.80 depending on experience
To earn the upper end of the salary bracket, you must be able to demonstrate competency in all aspects of the job role. Please note, you must have previous experience in a similar role to be considered for these positions.
Responsibilities:
- Install mechanical components
- Use of hand and power tools including drills, wrenches, saws and others.
- To read, interpret and work from engineering drawings
- Carry out drilling, tapping, cutting, and general fabrication as required during the build process
- Align and fit components
- Work with insulation materials
- Conduct basic quality checks throughout assembly
- Collaborate with welding, fabrication, and electrical teams to ensure smooth integration of components
Ideally, you will have previous experience as a mechanical fitter in a fabrication or industrial equipment environment.
