We are looking to welcome an part-time (approx 18-20 hours per week) pharmacy dispenser to join our community pharmacy. This is an excellent opportunity if you are passionate about helping people achieve positive health outcomes and are seeking to join a dedicated pharmacy team.
Experience within pharmacy and dispensing is essential and will be required.
The role is varied and requires applying your IT and communication skills, working closely with colleagues as a team to benefit patient care. Responsibilities range from assisting in the dispensing of prescriptions to supporting patients with healthy lifestyle advice and related queries at the medicines counter.
Essential skills and requirements
- Proven ability to provide a consistently professional, enhanced customer experience
- A high standard of written and spoken English communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- A good level of maths
- Ability to comply fully to GDPR requirements and understand the importance of customer confidentiality
- Excellent organisational and time management skills - able to work to strict deadlines, prioritise and multitask
- Able to build relationships with key partners (GP surgeries, care/nursing homes etc.)
- A willingness to learn and apply new skills.
Pay: From £13.25 per hour
