Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Use hand tools and power tools to plant, prune, trim, and maintain garden beds, trees, shrubs, and lawns
- Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and optimize plant health
- Conduct regular landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, weeding, mulching, and fertilizing
- Monitor plant growth and health, identifying pests or diseases early to take corrective action
- Assist with planting seasonal flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas by removing debris, fallen leaves, and waste materials
- Support horticultural projects by preparing soil beds and installing new landscape features as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in gardening or landscape maintenance with growing familiarity in horticulture practices
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as pruners, shovels, rakes, and hoes; experience with power tools is a plus
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and troubleshooting common issues effectively
- Strong understanding of plant care principles including watering schedules, soil health, pest control, and fertilization
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Prior experience working with landscaping or gardening teams is preferred
