About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly organised Senior Team Leader / Dental Nurse to join our look friendly, patient-focused practice.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced dental nurse who is ready to take the next step in their career by combining clinical nursing with leadership responsibilities. You’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the practice, leading by example, and helping to create an exceptional experience for both patients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and support the dental nursing team.
- Ensure high standards of patient care and clinical compliance are maintained.
- Assist dentists and hygienists with a wide range of procedures.
- Support the Owner with the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.
- Oversee staff rotas, training, and onboarding of new team members.
- Ensure CQC, HTM 01-05, infection control, and safeguarding standards are consistently met.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and stock control.
- Help foster a positive, supportive, and professional team culture.
- Deal confidently and compassionately with patient enquiries and concerns.
- Plan and coordinate practice marketing initiatives to attract and retain patients.
- Create, schedule, and manage engaging social media content across the practice's digital platforms.
- Work with the leadership team to develop campaigns promoting treatments, patient education, and practice events.
- Monitor marketing performance and social media engagement, suggesting new ideas to increase patient awareness and growth.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is GDC registered and qualified as a Dental Nurse.
- Has previous experience in a senior dental nursing or team leader role.
- Has excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Is organised, proactive, and able to prioritise effectively.
- Leads by example with a positive and professional attitude.
- Is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care.
- Has strong knowledge of CQC standards and compliance requirements.
- Is confident using dental software and computer systems.
