FIXED TERM 5th AUGUST 2026 to 4th AUGUST 2027
An opportunity has arisen for the post of a fixed term LAT in Respiratory Medicine based at Ninewells Hospital, NHS Tayside. The successful applicant will have a commitment to providing excellent care to patients presenting to Respiratory Medicine across scheduled and unscheduled care and be part of the acute medicine on call registrar rota.
Applicants will work across all major subspecialities: lung cancer, asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis, pulmonary physiology, interstitial lung disease, tuberculosis, respiratory infection, pleural disease, sleep medicine and critical care. Trainees will be able to develop skills in bronchoscopy and pleural procedures.
There are many educational opportunities including regular dedicated higher specialist trainee seminars, speciality multidisciplinary meetings, radiology meetings and hospital grand rounds. Training within Respiratory Medicine, East of Scotland Deanery, consistently receives excellent feedback in National Surveys and you will be working in a supportive environment with opportunities to develop your career portfolio.
You must be registered with the General Medical Council and hold a Licence to Practice.

Hours of work are: 9-5 Monday to Friday (40 hours per week). In addition, you will be part of the medical registrar out of hours rota.
