Discobowl Banbury is looking for a reliable and experienced Weekend Chef to join our kitchen team.
This is a sole-chef role, supported by management during busier periods, working with a simple, well-structured menu in a clean and organised kitchen.
Working hours
- Friday: 4:00pm – 10:00pm
- Saturday: 12:00pm – 10:00pm
- Sunday: 12:00pm – 10:00pm
Additional hours may be available during school holidays, half terms.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking food using a Rational SelfCookingCentre
- Producing pizzas using frozen dough balls
- Cooking sides including fries, nachos, chicken strips and similar items
- Managing the kitchen during your shift as a sole worker
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and hygiene
- Ensuring compliance with local and national food hygiene regulations
About you
- Previous kitchen experience required
- Comfortable working independently in a kitchen environment
- Experience with Rational ovens is desirable but not essential
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Reliable, organised and able to work under pressure
