Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist/Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing excellent customer service while efficiently managing administrative tasks. Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Answer incoming calls promptly, directing enquiries to the appropriate departments or personnel.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, mail, and courier deliveries.
- Maintain appointment schedules, organise meetings, and coordinate room bookings as required.
- Keep the reception area tidy and welcoming at all times.
- Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with organisational procedures.
- Support other administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and preparing documents.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies within the reception area.
Experience
- Previous office experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with administrative procedures.
- Proven administrative experience is advantageous, showcasing organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar programmes.
- Ability to prioritise tasks efficiently whilst maintaining a friendly and professional attitude.
- Organised with strong time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
