Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Factory Worker to join our bedroom manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting production processes.
This could include cutting, edging, pressing or drilling pieces to building the furniture, cleaning and wrapping ready for being loaded on to our van for delivery.
Ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a safe working environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills within a dynamic industrial setting.
Working day 6am until 2pm with a 30-minute unpaid break.
Duties
- Assist with the assembly of products using hand tools and power tools
- Operate and maintain various manufacturing equipment in accordance with safety protocols
- Conduct quality checks on finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications
- Load and unload materials and components within the warehouse or production area
- Support the organisation of workstations to optimise efficiency and safety
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to minimise risks
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the factory floor and work areas
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
- Previous experience in assembly work and joinery experience is desirable
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs
- Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is advantageous but not essential

Pay: £12.71-£12.72 per hour
