Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team! Duties
- Measure and cut roofing materials accurately to fit specific project requirements
- Install various roofing systems including shingles, metal, flat roofs, and membranes with precision
- Inspect existing roofs for damage or deterioration and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete roofing tasks
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate project timelines and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Assist with other construction-related tasks such as carpentry, masonry, or basic painting as needed
- Fabricate custom roofing components on-site when required to meet unique project specifications
Skills
- Strong knowledge of roofing techniques and materials
- Experience with carpentry, masonry, welding, plumbing, electrical work, and construction painting is a plus
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with fabrication processes for custom roofing components
- Good physical stamina with the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork skills along with strong attention to detail
