Salary: £65,000 per year + Car Allowance + Bonus

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Flat Roofing Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects across our Flat Roofing Division.
The Role
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the management and successful delivery of multiple flat roofing projects nationwide. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
This is a senior operational role requiring a proven background within flat roofing and experience managing roofing contracts from inception through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple flat roofing projects across the UK.
- Ensure all projects comply with Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
- Manage Site Managers, Supervisors, operatives and subcontractors.
- Monitor project performance, costs, quality and progress.
- Attend pre-start meetings, contract reviews and client meetings.
- Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and warranty provider requirements.
- Oversee the procurement of materials.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Produce project reports.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders.
- Attend weekly contract meetings at our Bedford Head Office.
Essential Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience within the flat roofing industry.
Previous experience as a Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Senior Site Manager or similar management role within roofing.
· Full UK Driving Licence.
· Strong commercial awareness
· Excellent communication and leadership skills.
· Ability to manage multiple live projects
· Willingness to travel nationally.
Extensive knowledge of flat roofing systems including:
- Felt Roofing
- Single Ply
- Liquid Applied Systems
Candidate Evidence Requirements
Applicants must be able to demonstrate substantial flat roofing experience.
As part of the recruitment process, candidates will be expected to provide evidence of their experience through one or more of the following:
- Detailed employment history on their CV.
- Photographic evidence of completed flat roofing projects.
- References from previous employers, clients or main contractors.
- Evidence of systems and manufacturers previously worked with.
Applications that cannot demonstrate relevant flat roofing experience will not be progressed.
Desirable Qualifications
- SMSTS
- NVQ Level 2 or above in Roofing
