The Willows Nursery School (formerly Hanbury Kindergarten) is a 25-32 place Nursery school for children aged 2yrs-5yrs. Operating 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday Term time only.
Located in the beautiful village of Church Langton, The Nursery School has a purpose built unit with outdoor space.
Summary
We are seeking a Nursery School Manager to lead our dedicated team and bring alive this new project. This vital role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional childcare standards, and fostering a positive environment for both children and staff. You will be part of the team delivering the learning and care to the children.
Responsibilities
ulfill operational management of the nursery, including staff supervision and compliance with regulations
oster a nurturing and educational environment aligned with our values
coordinate activities and curriculum planning to support early childhood development
manage relationships with parents, staff, and external agencies
ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are maintained
lead recruitment, training, and staff development initiatives
monitor quality standards and implement improvements as needed
manage administrative tasks related to nursery operations
Qualifications
Level 3 childcare qualification essential with at least 3 years of management experience
excellent communication skills in English
proven leadership abilities and team management skills
driving license is preferred but not essential
ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and families
commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
