Job Summary
Canterwood is an established residential building contractor based in Reigate. We specialise in high-quality extensions, renovations and refurbishment projects, and we’re looking for an experienced multi-trade builder to join our team.
This role would suit someone with a solid general knowledge of building and a broad range of practical skills. You don’t need to be a specialist in every trade, but you should be confident completing varied work to a good standard without needing constant supervision.
Typical work may include:
- General carpentry and first-fix work
- Plasterboarding and basic making good
- Basic groundworks and drainage
- Installing insulation and floor build-ups
- General structural and alteration work
- Second-fix items and finishing
- Supporting larger extensions and renovation projects
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has good all-round building knowledge
- Has proven experience working on residential projects
- Takes pride in the quality of their work
- Can work independently and as part of a small site team
- Is reliable, organised and communicates well
- Keeps their work area tidy and treats clients’ homes with respect
- Has their own tools and transport
- Is based within reasonable travelling distance of Reigate
What we offer:
