Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Turkish Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Turkish cuisine, demonstrating exceptional food preparation and cooking skills. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook authentic Turkish dishes(Stews, Pide, etc), ensuring quality and presentation meet established standards
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, supervising junior staff and managing food production processes
- Lead the team in food preparation, ensuring efficient workflow and timely service
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Manage inventory, organise supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Assist in menu planning, developing new recipes that reflect traditional Turkish cuisine
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to uphold culinary excellence and professional development
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction
- Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and cleanliness to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment
- Extensive knowledge of Turkish cuisine, ingredients, and traditional cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Excellent food preparation and cooking abilities with attention to detail
- Experience in food safety practices and compliance with health regulations
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Good organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
