Job Summary
Join our catering team at Curl Edinburgh where your will work front of house in our clubroom, which operates as both a cafe and a bar. You will be required to serve food, make coffee, serve alcohol, and most importantly be a friendly and welcoming individual that is good with interacting with customers. You will work as part of a small team which means you may also be required to help out in the kitchen, so being comfortable in the kitchen and around food is essential, although you don't need to have experience a chef! Working at Curl Edinburgh is a dynamic job and it can be very fast-paced so good organisational and team-working skills are key. Shifts will vary between weekday daytime and evenings and weekends. The job will run from October - March with a requirement for a couple of days in late September for onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Service of food and drink.
- Assist with food prep and kitchen operation when required.
- Provided good customer service to our members.
- Ensure the clubroom is clean and tidy at all times and that the bar is well stocked.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality roles such as restaurant serving, bartending, and barista work is highly desirable
- Knowledge of catering services and food safety practices to ensure compliance with health standards
- Strong communication skills with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to customer service
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in food preparation or restaurant operations is a bonus but not essential
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
