Job Summary
We are seeking a Hatchery Team Leader to assist the Hatchery Management Team in the day-to-day running of the hatchery facility, and to ensure the welfare of day-old chicks whilst maintaining the high standards of quality, hygiene, animal welfare and health and safety that are required.
Responsibilities
· Gain a full understanding of poultry at Annyalla Chicks
· Leading a small team
· Assisting with daily production needs
· Hygiene monitoring
· Managing stores and supplies
· Undertake various tasks within the hatchery
· General cleaning and tidiness of all areas inside and outside the hatchery to ensure our high standards of biosecurity are adhered to at all times
· Adhere to all codes of practice and bird welfare
· Adhere to health and safety standards at all times
· Undertake any other duties within the hatchery operation as and when required.
Skills & Experience
· Previous hatchery experience, or factory/production experience
· Supervisory experience would be advantageous
· Technical knowledge, computer skills and basic mathematics are an advantage
· Flexible and hard working
· Enthusiastic and a positive attitude to teamwork
· Ability to work shifts
· Own transportation required due to location

Pay: £13.21 per hour, with additional £1 per hour when working as Team Leader
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Monday-Sunday
Pay: £13.21-£14.21 per hour
