Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled TIG aluminium welder to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components using TIG welding techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Weld and assemble metal components according to engineering drawings
- Fabricate parts by operating hand and power tools
- Conduct welding tasks using TIG welding methods
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to ensure proper assembly of components
- Work with sheet metal to create precise welds
- Perform stick welding when required
Skills:
- Proficient in welding techniques, specifically TIG welding
- Ability to fabricate and assemble metal parts accurately
- Competent in using hand tools and power tools for fabrication work
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and ensure proper assembly
- Experience working with sheet metal for welding purposes
- Familiarity with stick welding techniques
