Duties
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out masonry, carpentry, roofing, and welding tasks
- Lay bricks and blocks accurately following technical specifications and safety standards
- Construct, repair, and maintain structures such as walls, roofs, and frameworks
- Assist with the installation of roofing materials ensuring durability and weather resistance
- Use bricklaying techniques to create stable foundations and decorative features
- Perform routine inspections of work sites to identify potential hazards or issues
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in masonry, bricklaying, carpentry, roofing, or welding is highly desirable
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment relevant to construction trades
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the construction industry
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project specifications
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Physical fitness with the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in masonry, carpentry, roofing or welding are advantageous but not essential for all roles

Pay: £39,000.00 per year
