WS Training are looking to appoint a Study Programme Tutor for our post 16 and SEND courses including Vocational Studies or/and Maths, Employability, English and PSHE.

Your responsibilities

Teaching FS English and Vocational Studies Level 1
-
Contributing to the initial assessment process, induction activities and identifying gaps in learning
-
The use of baseline assessments to plan suitable sessions enabling learners to access learning that is motivational and inspiring
-
Assisting students to improve their own learning and performance by developing their study skills
-
Devising appropriate interventions to support students to remain on track for completion of their course
-
Agreeing and putting in place relevant targets and actions
-
Taking responsibility for planning and delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to our students who have a broad range of barriers to learning and/or Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
What you will need
-
Minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Qualification
-
Minimum of Level 2 functional skills or equivalent in maths and English
-
Recent experience of working in an educational setting and delivering learning to students
-
Experience of developing programmes of study for young people who have experienced barriers to their lives and education
-
Experience of delivering Functional Skills Maths and English.
