The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations and order picking, and be committed to the highest standards of customer service, warehouse housekeeping and adherence to health and safety requirements. This role requires physical stamina to pick and dispatch orders quickly and accurately throughout the day, including lifting up to 20kg consistently.
Overview
Full-time, permanent, 37.5-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5.00pm
£27,500 per annum + up to 10% annual bonus.
Matched pension contribution up to 7%.
Free annual health checks.
25 days holiday per annum, plus one additional day for each full year of service up to a maximum of 30 days, plus bank holidays.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack orders for our entire range of customers, from 10g to 20kg.
- Stack, wrap, label and distribute pallets.
- Load and unload goods from lorries using forklifts and manual handling techniques.
- Maintain a safe, organised and well-replenished warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and efficiency.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced, order-picking environment.
- Familiarity with health and safety requirements and good warehouse housekeeping.
- Attention to detail and high standards of picking pace and accuracy.
- Dynamic team player to enhance our existing high-performance team.
- Can-do attitude and determination to see through daily task requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 20kg safely and effectively.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Fork-lift competence and qualification is desirable but not essential.
