Title: Supply & Procurement Apprenticeship
Location: Tonbridge TN12 6DR
Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday

UK Electric are looking for a bright, ambitious individual to support the commercial team in developing an industry leading procurement function. As a Procurement Assistant you will need to follow group policies in invoices, processing and working on their Internal System.
Apprenticeship summary
We are looking for a bright, ambitious individual to support the category team in developing an industry leading procurement function. As a Procurement Assistant you will be working closely with the category team and Head of Procurement on both procurement and marketing related tasks, which will include:-
- Analysing supplier/product data and financial results to provide insight and make recommendations for action based on findings
- Drafting supplier contracts and tenders
- Processing invoices
- Putting onto Internal Systems/I.T
- Follow group policies
- Liaise with Auditors
- Invoices for payment
- Purchase orders
- Processing documents
- Liaising with the product data team and suppliers to ensure we have accurate and enriched product data
- Collection and management of supplier policy documentation
- Competitor analysis to support the setting of promotional pricing
- General office administration and other office duties as required
Apprenticeship Training
As an apprentice you will complete a Supply & Procurement Level 3 qualification with a national Training Provider. Your apprenticeship Training will focus on your job, is completed at the workplace, and you will be allocated a tutor and a study session in your working week.
Components of the Supply & Procurement Level 3 Apprenticeship
· Competence/Knowledge based qualification
· Functional Skills – Maths/ English (if required)
· End Point Assessment – Final Knowledge Test, Observation and Discussion

Once you have successfully completed your apprenticeship, and all being well, there will be a full-time role with the company. From there you could progress to other job roles such as external sales, team leader, assistant manager and even Branch Manager.
