We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join a supportive primary school in Bexley on a full-time basis from September.
The Role:
- Supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 and small group basis.
- Working closely with teachers and therapists to support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
- Assisting students with Autism, ADHD, Speech & Language needs, SEMH, and other additional needs.
- Creating a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
- Supporting behaviour management and implementing individual learning strategies.
Requirements:
- Previous SEN experience is essential.
- Experience working with children or young people with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or complex needs.
- A patient, proactive, and caring approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
