Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Deep Cleaning Operative to join our professional cleaning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and sanitising various premises, ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work and have a keen eye for detail. All positions are paid, including internships, and offer an opportunity to develop valuable skills within the cleaning industry.
Responsibilities
- Conduct deep cleaning of commercial or residential spaces, including kitchens, bathrooms, carpets, and upholstery
- Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialised cleaning equipment to achieve optimal results
- Prepare cleaning solutions and manage waste disposal in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Follow strict health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
- Maintain a high level of organisation and attention to detail during all cleaning tasks
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning to the supervisor promptly
- Adhere to client specifications and confidentiality agreements at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or specialised cleaning environments is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment is desirable
- Experience working with industrial or commercial cleaning products is beneficial
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced settings
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for ensuring thorough cleanliness standards are met
Pay: £12.71 per hour
