Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks to support chefs in delivering quality dishes
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, utensils, and equipment
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies according to safety standards
- Support the washing and sanitizing of dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools
- Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to uphold hygiene standards
- Restock supplies and assist with organizing storage areas for efficiency
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all staff
Skills
- Experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene practices and safety protocols
- Previous restaurant or hotel experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with fast-paced environments
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and servers

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
