Are you a passionate leader with a knack for nurturing outstanding childcare? We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Area Manager to oversee and inspire within our Yorkshire-based childcare network.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Lead and manage a team, providing guidance and support to achieve performance targets.
Utilise Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation purposes.
Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and leadership.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a valid driving licence for travel as needed.
Monitor and evaluate team performance, implementing improvements as necessary.
What You’ll Bring:
Passion for Early Years: Advocating for all children, with empathic understanding around various needs.
Financial Savvy: Confident with budgets, profit & loss reports, and financial planning or the desire to learn.
Tech Know-How: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Regulatory Expertise: Deep understanding of Ofsted legislation, safeguarding, health & safety, GDPR, EHO, and quality compliance.
Customer-Centric Mindset: Delivering exceptional service to families and the community.
Leadership with Heart: Strong people management skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to inspire teams with kindness.
A driver’s licence & access to your own method of transport – regular travel will be a requirement for the role, covering Wakefield, Huddersfield, Sheffield & Rotherham
Your Qualifications & Experience:
Preferred Graduate childcare related Degree, however if you hold a foundation degree or L3, we will consider this for the right person!
A Minimum two year’s nursery leadership experience
A proven track record in managing Ofsted inspections, achieving Good or Outstanding ratings.
Passion for sustainability and outcomes for children.
Organisation and compliance are second nature to you.
An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role
