London’s Collective is looking for friendly, confident and reliable volunteers to join our team for the Shoreditch Festival Market on Sunday 23rd August 2026.
We’re bringing together 52 independent vendors, food, music and the London community for a day in Shoreditch.
As part of our volunteer team, you’ll help us create a welcoming, organised event while gaining hands-on experience behind the scenes of a busy London market.
Your Role
Depending on where you’re assigned on the day, you may help with:
- Welcoming and checking in vendors
- Managing vendor vehicle arrivals, loading and unloading
- Directing vendors to their allocated spaces
- Supporting event set-up and pack-down
- Welcoming and checking in attendees
- Helping manage queues and attendee flow
- Giving directions and answering attendee questions
- Supporting vendors throughout the event
- Capturing occasional content from the day
- General event assistance where needed
No heavy lifting is required.
Who We’re Looking For
No previous event experience is required.
We’re looking for people who are:
- Friendly and approachable
- Reliable and punctual
- Confident speaking to new people
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
- Proactive and willing to get involved
- Able to work well as part of a team
This opportunity would be especially suited to anyone interested in events, hospitality, marketing, content creation, community work or gaining practical experience for their CV.
