We are looking for enthusiastic, BABCP accredited and experienced CBT therapists to join NHS Enfield Talking Therapies Service as a Senior CBT therapist . We are a well- established and highly regarded service with a strong track record for staff retention, development and wellbeing. The service is provided by the North London Foundation Trust . We work closely with our partner Services in Barnet, Camden and Islington .
You will be part of a large team of CBT Therapists, PWPs, counsellors, trainees and administrators who are working to increas e access to treatment for people with depression, anxiety and other common mental health conditions and making changes in line with national KPIs for Talking Therapies . The postholder will be supported by the Deputy Clinical Lead and Clinical Lead for the service and have peer support from an experienced senior team.
You will be responsible for clinical and managerial supervision of staff , take on a lead role in an area of service development and also carry a small clinical caseload .
Applicants are advised that we operate a hybrid working policy which means postholders are expected to come on site to our base (2-3 days a week) and combine this with remote working . For this vacancy we specifically require someone to be on-site on Wednesdays and Fridays until 5pm.
The postholder will also be expected to support senior management cover as required including evening clinics that run from 8.00 am- 8.00 pm.
Main Duties of the Job
To provide leadership, highly specialised clinical supervision and expert psychological assessment and treatment within an NHS Talking Therapies service specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Counselling.
To offer advice and consultation on clients’ psychological care to colleagues
T o work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures.
To participate in and lead on service related research and audit projects, service development and quality improvement initiatives.
To also work with the senior management team to deliver Talking Therapies key performance indicators.
To be responsible for line management and performance of staff supervised.
To support the manage ment of the day to day operations of the service alongside other senior management team members.
