Traceability & Stock Control Administrator
We are looking for a Traceability & Stock Control Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate product traceability records, processing stock transactions, managing goods-in procedures, and supporting quality control checks.
Key Responsibilities
Traceability & Systems Recording
- Input and maintain traceability records on our bespoke software system.
- Record batch/lot numbers, dates, and other traceability data accurately and consistently.
- Investigate and resolve traceability discrepancies, escalating where necessary.
Stock Transactions & Adjustments
- Record stock receipts, transfers, issues, and despatches promptly and accurately.
- Process stock adjustments in line with company procedures, obtaining authorisation where required.
- Support periodic stock counts and reconcile variances.
Goods In
- Book in incoming goods, checking deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the relevant department.
- Ensure goods-in documentation is filed correctly for traceability purposes.
Quality Control (Ad-hoc)
- Carry out ad-hoc QC checks as directed, following company procedures and specifications.
- Record QC results accurately and report any non-conformances.
- Support the wider team in maintaining product quality and compliance standards.
Person Specification
Essential
- Good numeracy and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using computer systems and confident learning bespoke software.
- Able to work methodically and follow procedures accurately.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Data entry accuracy
- Organisation and time management
- Problem-solving (spotting and resolving discrepancies)
- IT literacy / ability to pick up new systems quickly
Pay: From £27,560.00 per year
