Working Hours:
Monday-Thursday 8.00am-4.30pm
Friday 8.00am-4.00pm (Friday working is essential)
Totalling 37.75 hours per week
Hours can be negotiated.
The Company has a vacancy for a Stores Person to work within its fast paced stores department. Have experience of working in a similar position would be an advantage, however full product training will be provided for the successful candidate.
Key responsibilities
- Accurate management of incoming and outgoing stock
- Kitting – Preparation of Kits for Production – ensuring all parts are available and identifying any discrepancies for further action
- Preparing, Packaging and dispatch of customer orders
- Use of company ERP stock control management system
- Operation of warehouse equipment and machinery
- Perform regular cycle counts
- Compliance ESD protection requirements
- Liaising with sales and production departments
- Complete production documentation as required
- Booking courier collections
- Support the company’s policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Knowledge and Skills
- Have an aptitude for practical work
- High attention to detail is essential
- Use of computer and ERP systems is advantageous
- Working experience of ISO9001 QMS is preferable
- A positive, can do attitude
- Manual handling knowledge. This role is physical and some heavy lifting is required
- Valid driving licence for making deliveries is essential for this role
