Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the Bus Station and adjacent areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a professional environment, contributing to a safe and welcoming space for passengers and staff alike.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping and use of floor cleaning equipment.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, canteen, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste routinely.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored safely and used correctly.
- Report any maintenance issues, security matters or hazards identified during cleaning duties to management promptly.
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to minimise risks in the workplace.
- Adhere to organisational policies regarding safety.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in public transportation site cleaning is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Being able to take the initiative to actively seek for work.
- Good organisational skills and reliability are essential for timely completion of tasks.
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Must be confident, willing and able to undertake opening/closing the station upon request.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
