Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate experience, Level 3 practitioner to join our vibrant team as the Deputy Manager and to lead our Baby Room.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children.
This is a full time all year round position.
Responsibilities
- Leading our Baby Room with creativity and confidence
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Supporting the Manager in the day to day running of the setting.
- Manage daily routines, ensuring that all children's needs are met, including personal care and hygiene.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their development.
- Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery environment, promoting a culture of learning and inclusivity.
- Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early education.
Experience
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required to effectively engage with children and families.
- Proven ability to manage groups of children safely and effectively while fostering an enjoyable learning atmosphere.
- Leadership skills are advantageous for guiding less experienced staff and supporting team dynamics.
Must hold a full and relevant level 3 qualification.
