Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing front-of-house staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Oversee food preparation and serving processes to maintain quality standards
- Assist in training new team members on food safety, customer service, and operational procedures
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest enquiries efficiently
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the establishment
- Monitor cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and reception zone
- Support kitchen staff during busy periods with food production or service assistance when needed
- Handle customer complaints professionally to uphold the establishment’s reputation
- Collaborate with management on staff scheduling, stock control, and event planning
- Promote a positive team environment through effective leadership and motivation
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
- Experience in serving guests with professionalism and hospitality skills
- Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with barista or bar service is advantageous
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Previous experience in culinary roles or hospitality management is preferred
