FLT (CTB) Operative and Night Warehouse

Salary: £34,000
Weekly Hours: 48 hours per week
Week 1: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights
Days off: Monday and Saturday nights
Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights
Days off: Wednesday and Saturday nights

The role:
We're looking for a reliable and motivated Night Warehouse & FLT Operative to support our busy night operation in Bristol. You'll be responsible for operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck, transferring freight from trunk vehicles into multi-drop delivery vehicles, and carrying out general warehouse duties to ensure deliveries are prepared accurately and on time.
While this is primarily a warehouse-based role, there may be occasions where you'll be required to complete emergency customer deliveries to support the operation, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Maintain the pace and standards of performance within the Warehouse.
- Picking products to route level from mixed pallets.
- Completion of relevant paperwork.
- Checking of products for Quality and Quantity issues.
- Manual handling - picking up goods weighing up to 25kg (full training provided).
- Provide an efficient, friendly service at all times to create and maintain a customer focused environment.
- Complete and return of all Company and customer paperwork to the required standard.
- Adhere with Company Policy in relation to personal hygiene, personal presentation, health and safety and housekeeping always.
- Maintaining Company Security policy, ensuring that any incidents are reported to Senior Management.
To be successful in your application, you will need to demonstrate/possess the below skills, experience, and qualities:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (essential).
- Full UK driving licence (essential), as you may be required to undertake emergency customer deliveries when operational needs require.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
- Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
