Due to retirement we are recruiting for a part time person to work for us as a vehicle dismantler/cutter at our EA permitted site in Stanton by Dale, Derbyshire.
What’s the role?
The main purpose of the role is to dismantle HGV/LGV vehicles, removal of bodies and parts for sale and to quality check parts as part of the removal process.
What responsibilities will you have?
Dismantling & depolluting vehicles
Removing parts for sale from vehicles
Hot Works (Metal Cutting)
Preparing, and loading sold parts for export (where applicable)
Housekeeping and Yard Operative duties
The successful candidate will ideally have:
*Experience working with LGV/HGVs mechanically or be mechanically minded
*At least 2 years experience doing cutting and hot works
*Experience of using a range of hand tools and, ideally, have own tools
*Ability to work in a competent and tidy manner
*Health and Safety awareness
*Forklift Licence (training can be provided if not current)
Typical working hours to be confirmed on interview
Pay negotiable dependent on your experience.
