As per the business requirements, potential applicants should have experience in this field. Hands-on experience with brewing equipment, knowledge of sanitation regulations, flexibility to work various shifts, basic math skills, ability to gauge customer’s preferences, and excellent communication skills are must.
You will be responsible for following duties and responsibilities:
Ø Grinding and brewing coffee
Ø Developing and maintaining expert knowledge of coffee and educating clients and colleagues about these coffees.
Ø Consistently providing well-crafted, beautifully presented and tasty beverages.
Ø Taking clients orders and receiving cash / card payments.
Ø Speaking and interacting with both new and regular customers in professional manner.
Ø Maintaining a clean and sanitised working environment.
Ø Following health and safety guidelines.
Ø Regularly performing stock checks in the coffee bar and updating order list.
Ø Following recipes and presentations for food and beverage items, if needed.
Ø Being aware of and following operational policies and procedures.
Ø Being punctual and maintaining regular and consistent attendance.
Ø The ability to work flexible hours and shifts which may include weekends and bank holidays.
Ø The ability to work in other departments. If required.
Ø Contributing to a positive work environment and support to maintain positive team work with all work colleagues.
Ø Support setting up and removing outside seating area.
Ø Support to maintain cleanliness of the café and support other departments, if required.
Ø Support supervisors for smooth running of the operation.
