Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our Agency!
The ideal candidate will have experience in a care setting and a passion for enhancing the lives of those in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
- Administer medications as per training and facility guidelines, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive and caring environment.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring residents receive adequate nutrition.
- Support residents with mobility and physical activities, promoting independence and dignity.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a care setting, preferably in a senior role.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is Required
- Medication Qualification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in care.
