Job Summary
· Develop and maintain effective working relationships.
· Liaise with the provider, ensuring all necessary reports are sent timeously.

Responsibilities
The Registered Manager’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· To provide leadership to the administration, care and nursing, catering, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance and people management functions of the service
· To carry out, and provide leadership in marketing the service, and selling its services at the agreed prices
· To maintain the operations of the service at the standard agreed with the Registered Provider, within the financial budget or other parameters set by the Provider
· Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals supported by the service.
· Lead and manage the daily operations of the home, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
· Develop, implement, and review individual care plans for residents, tailoring services to meet their specific needs.
· Supervise and support staff members, providing guidance and training to ensure high-quality care delivery.
· Oversee medication administration processes to guarantee safety and adherence to prescribed protocols.
· Foster a positive atmosphere within the home, encouraging resident engagement and participation in activities.
· Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and external agencies regarding care services and updates.
· Ensure that the home is well-maintained, clean, and safe for both residents and staff.
Requirements
- Nursing qualification and registered with the NMC.
- Proven leadership experience in a senior care setting such as a nursing home.
- Strong understanding of care plans and medication administration protocols.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Compassionate approach towards elderly care with a commitment to enhancing residents' quality of life.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to communicate clearly with residents, families, staff, and healthcare professionals.
