About Us
Golate Dental Practice is a modern, purpose-built dental practice located in the heart of Cardiff City Centre. We are a predominantly NHS practice with a growing private patient list, offering treatments including Invisalign, implants, general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry.
We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and motivated Qualified Dental Nurse with experience in reception duties to join our friendly and supportive team on a part-time basis.
The Role
The successful candidate will divide their time between clinical dental nursing duties and reception responsibilities, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
The role will include:
- Clinical and chairside assistance to dentists, hygienists and patients
- Instrument decontamination and sterilisation in accordance with WHTM 01-05 guidelines
- Reception and administrative duties
- Managing patient appointments and enquiries
- Providing excellent customer service and patient care
- Supporting the team to maintain a professional and efficient working environment
Essential Requirements
- Valid GDC registration
- Previous experience as a Dental Nurse
- Previous experience carrying out reception duties within a dental practice
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Professional, reliable and patient-focused approach
- Availability to work Wednesdays and Thursdays as a minimum requirement
Desirable Skills
- Experience using R4 software
- Experience working within both NHS and private dentistry

Ability to Commute
Applicants must be able to reliably commute to Cardiff City Centre or plan to relocate before starting work.
