We are looking for an Apprentice Plumbing & Heating Engineer who wants to learn the trade properly and develop into a skilled, multi-skilled engineer.

We would rather take someone with no experience and an excellent attitude than someone experienced with the wrong attitude.
The Role
You will work alongside experienced engineers on domestic installations while completing your apprenticeship and developing your practical skills.
The role is varied and will give you experience across traditional plumbing and heating as well as newer technologies.
Typical work will include:
- Assisting with plumbing and heating installations
- Installing and altering hot and cold-water pipework
- Installing radiators and heating systems
- Assisting with air source heat pump installations
- Assisting with boiler installations
- Installing hot water cylinders
- Bathroom plumbing and installation work
- Assisting with air conditioning installations
- First and second fix plumbing
- Removing existing heating equipment
- Preparing properties for installations
- Pressure testing and flushing systems
- Organising tools and materials
- Keeping vans and work areas clean and organised
- Learning servicing, commissioning and fault finding
- Working safely and professionally in customers' homes
Travel Requirements
You must either:
- Hold a driving licence and be able to travel independently, or
- Have reliable transport to get yourself to our agreed meeting / collection location each morning.
You must be able to get yourself to the meeting location reliably and on time.
Being unable to get to work cannot become a regular issue.
Experience & Qualifications
Previous plumbing experience is not essential.
We are happy to consider someone starting from the beginning if they have the right attitude and are committed to learning.
You should be willing to:
- Complete the relevant college apprenticeship
- Develop both practical and technical knowledge
- Work across plumbing, heating, bathrooms, heat pumps and air conditioning
- Undertake further training as you progress
